Summer’s Stories signing successful

Signing copies of 'Destroyer' and 'The Day After'
The authors of 'Destroyer' and 'The Day After' sign copies of their books. L to R: Timothy Deal, myself, Natasha Hayden. (Not pictured: Nick Hayden).

If you came to the book signing my partners in crime Tim and Nick and Natasha and I held at Summer’s Stories this past Saturday, thank you for making it a rousing success. If you didn’t come…why?

While the signing was originally just for Destroyer, we received copies of The Day After right before it, so it was included. I sold nearly twice as many books there as I did the first time I had a signing at the store (of course, it helped that I was selling two titles).

Don’t forget that this Saturday I will be at Fort Wayne Celebrates on the former Taylor University Fort Wayne campus in Fort Wayne, Indiana, from 12pm-5pm!

Be there, or be square!

I’m returning to Summer’s Stories!

After graciously hosting my first ever book signing for Pandora’s Box last year, I’ll be returning to Summer’s Stories in Kendallville, Indiana, with Natasha Hayden and Timothy Deal to sign and sell copies of Destroyer. The signing will be September 17 from 1PM-3PM. It will be primarily for Destroyer, but I will also bring a few copies of my other book(s) (see my next announcement).

So don’t miss this rare opportunity to get a copy of this new novella from Novel Concept signed by all three authors!

Where ‘Pandora’s Box’ can be purchased

After discovering that British internet retailer that was selling my book, I decided I needed to post the places/websites where Pandora’s Box could be purchased and the libraries that have it in their collections. This is something I have been procrastinating on for a while, and for that I apologize.

So, without further delay, here are the places you can buy a copy (or at least have it special ordered):
Amazon.com
Langtoninfo.com
Hyde Bros. Booksellers (in Fort Wayne, Indiana)
Summer’s Stories (in Kendallville, Indiana)
-Ace Hardware (in North Webster, Indiana)

Here are the libraries that have copies:
North Webster Community Public Library (in North Webster, Indiana)
Syracuse Public Library (in Syracuse, Indiana)
Noble County Public Libraries (in Noble County, Indiana)
Warsaw Community Public Library (in Warsaw, Indiana)
Peabody Public Library (in Columbia City, Indiana)

I will add more as they become available, so be sure to check back for updates.

More book signings scheduled

The last few days, I have been making stops at and calls to many libraries and bookstores in my area to ask them if they’d be interested in holding a book signing for me. I am excited to report that most of them have, at least, tentatively scheduled one for me. I have a regular book signing tour forming.

While details need to worked out with some of them, these tentative dates and locations are:
Friday, November 12, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. – Hyde Brothers Bookstore in Fort Wayne, Indiana
Saturday, November 20 – Village Books in Fort Wayne, Indiana
December (Date TBA) – Noble County Public Libraries in Noble County, Indiana

I am also in talks with the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana, about holding a signing.

So, as of now, my book signing “tour” tentatively looks like this:
November 6 – Summer’s Stories
November 12 – Hyde Brothers Bookstore
November 13 – North Webster Community Public Library
November 20 – Village Books
December (TBA) – Noble County Public Libraries

Once dates are set in stone, you’ll be sure to to hear about it, so keep checking for more updates.

First Book Signings Scheduled!

Today I talked Summer Moser, the owner and manager of Summer’s Stories in Kendallville, Indiana, and now have my first book signing for Pandora’s Box–and my first book signing ever–scheduled. It will held November 6 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Summer’s Stories is a small, independent bookstore nestled in old downtown Kendallville, a small town in my home county of Noble in northeastern Indiana. Summer is one of my friend Nick’s younger sisters. Two years ago when Nick held a signing for his second novel, The Echo of Dreams, at her store, she promised to have a signing for me there when I published my first novel. Now I’m taking her up on her offer.

You can learn more about Summer’s Stories on its Facebook page.

I also have a tentative date for another book signing on November 13 at the North Webster Community Public Library in North Webster, Indiana. More on that later.
